What affects the price

Number of pages

A single landing page is far quicker to design and build than a ten-page site. More pages means more design, more copy and more testing — so the price rises with the page count.

Custom design vs templates

Template-based builds are cheaper because the design work is mostly done. A fully custom design tailored to your brand takes longer, but it is what makes your business look like you and not everyone else.

SEO setup

A site that nobody finds is money wasted. Proper SEO setup — page titles, descriptions, structure, speed, sitemap and Google Search Console — adds to the build cost but pays for itself in enquiries.

Copywriting and content

Writing clear, persuasive words for every page is a job in itself. Supplying your own text keeps costs down; having it written for you adds to the price but usually converts far better.

Revisions and support

Packages with multiple or unlimited revision rounds cost more upfront, but protect you from paying extra every time you want something tweaked after launch.

Ongoing management

Websites need updates, security fixes and fresh content. Some businesses pay monthly for this to be handled; others pay nothing and handle it themselves.

The ongoing costs to budget for

  • Domain name — usually around £10 to £20 a year. Included free with our Premium Website package.
  • Hosting — the cost of keeping your site live and loading fast. Covered by the £20/month on our Funnel Site.
  • Maintenance and edits — updates, security fixes and content changes. Our Web Management add-on covers all of this for £150/month, including a monthly performance report.
  • Content and marketing — optional, but consistent social media keeps the enquiries coming. Our Social Media Management is £175/month.
Common questions

Website cost FAQs.

The cheapest professional option is a one-page funnel site. Our Funnel Site is £150 to set up and £20 a month, which covers hosting, edits and fixes. DIY builders can look cheaper monthly, but once you add your own time, a domain and premium features, the gap is much smaller than it first appears.

It depends on what the site needs to do. For a simple online presence that brings in enquiries, a few hundred pounds is realistic. For a multi-page site built to rank on Google and win trust, expect to pay somewhere between £500 and £1,500 with an independent designer. Large agencies often charge several thousand for similar work.

Yes, every website has some. At minimum you will pay for a domain name (usually around £10 to £20 a year) and hosting. Many businesses also pay for ongoing management — updates, security fixes and content changes. Our Web Management add-on is £150 a month and covers priority support, edits, a monthly performance report and technical and security fixes.

Big agencies have offices, account managers and large teams to pay for, and those overheads are built into every quote. The end result is not always proportionally better for a small business. An independent specialist can often deliver the same quality for a fraction of the price.

Almost always, yes. Most of your potential customers start with a Google search. A site with proper SEO setup — correct structure, fast loading, the right titles and descriptions — has a real chance of being found. Without it, even a beautiful site can sit invisible.
